Patrician Brothers College, Fairfield
Turning 60!![]()

Sixty years of tradition!

It was in August 1952 that the Brothers were asked by Archbishop Eris O’Brien to open and administer a boys school at Fairfield. The Josephite Sisters had had a school for the girls since 1928, it was about time the boys were catered for.
The school had a Patrician principal from 1953 until 2001, Br Bernard Bulfin being the last Brother as principal. Mr Michael Krawec, an ex-student of the College, took over from Br Bernard, and the current principal is Mr John Killeen.
Much is planned for 2013 to celebrate 60 years, below is the calendar. If you are an ex-student, an ex-member of staff, or an ex-parent/friend, 2013 would be a great year to make a visit. Click here for website programme.
